Thank you for inquiring about fishing with us aboard the "Keen M". The following information will hopefully help answer some of your questions regarding our beautiful island and it's exceptional offshore fishing.

 
 




























Our Boats

The 'Keen M' is a twenty-nine foot express sport fisherman, powered by a 300 Horsepower Caterpillar Diesel. She has a full complement with electronics as well as all Coast Guard approved safety equipment. Built in 1997 in Palm Beach, Florida, USA, the Keen M was totally customized for the specific purpose of fishing in Isla Mujeres. She has since proven to be an agile and competitive fishing platform. The 'Lilly M' is a thirty six foot Vernese Express, powered by 450 Horsepower Cummins Diesel. She has a full complement of electronic as well as all coas guard approved safety equipment. Built in 2000 in Palm Beach, Fl. it was also designed for fishing in the waters of Isla Mujeres.

Our tackle

We offer a range of custom tackle, starting with our rods supplied by "Custom Rods By Dru" of Palm Beach, Florida. We use TLD-20 Shimano conventional reels or Penn 6500S spinning reels, with twenty pound test monofilament line. Our regular bait is Ballyhoo, and the fishing method is dead bait trolling. We also supply Fly tackle upon request.
   
 

Fishing Tips

We recommend at least two days of fishing, and have found three to be the right amount. Most of our guests find themselves getting more comfortable and relaxed on the boat by the second day. We take a maximum of three guests per day. For your safety reasons, only children older than 10 are allowed on the boat.

The Fishing trip includes:
Tackle and bait.
Box lunch, snacks and refreshments.
Boat, Captain and Mate.

Tips are welcome and based solely on your enjoyment of the day.

 
 

Atlantic Sailfish is our target but often we have the opportunity to catch Dolphin (mahi-mahi), Bonito, Kingfish and wahoo.
